Love the red LED light for astronomy! Does just as well as my $25 dimmable specialty light.

First it's worth noting that I lost my first Inova (which I had for about 3 years) when I experimented with using a small carabiner to clip my keys to my belt loops. The clip on the light managed to detach itself from my keys while I was out on errands. It didn't happen when my keys were in my pocket (odd I know) so just be warned if you favor the carabiner-to-belt-loop method of carrying keys. All in all I love the light. I went with the white, it's bright enough to light up my 10ft by 12ft living room in the pitch dark. As for the battery use, from the casual paces I put it through I only need to replace the batteries every 5-6 months. And the best part is the button isn't so sensitive that it will turn itself on in your pocket! (Common problem I've had with previous bulkier "pocket" lights) Highly recommend for anyone worried about that surprise power outage or low light situation.

I have a red one that I bought before the white ones came out. I clip it to my shirt pocket to keep it from falling out. I have replaced the Li cells once. It is about as bright as an old incandescent flashlight, enough to walk with safely. (I had tripped in the dark recently before I got it.) Also, small children like the strobe mode, and some of them can turn it off and on. Rubbing with hand sanitizer doesn't seem to hurt it. I also have a white one, but I carry the red one. With no paper clip at hand, I took off the clip and used it to weight a paper airplane. Nice versatile clip. I smoothed the clip a little with sandpaper, but it didn't need much.

Got one of these in my Christmas stocking. I latch it on to the draw cord of my running jacket. It's fantastic. I was out in the early morning darkness yesterday and a guy in a car stopped and asked me what it was and where he could get one. Gave him the name and told him to Google it. Just ordered 3 for my kids who are all runners. Great product.
